PTMA – Personal Transnational Mobility Assistant
PTMA (Personal Transnational Mobility Assistant) is an
Erasmus+ KA220 Strategic Partnership project, designed
to address the drop in transnational mobility
opportunities for learners, especially low-skilled VET
trainees, in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Built using Flutter, the PTMA mobile app equips users with essential tools and confidence to safely engage in physical or hybrid international mobility programs. The app was developed with a mobile-first approach, taking into account that the majority of youth aged 16-24 already own smartphones.

The PTMA results are fully digital, open-source, multilingual (available in 8 languages), and cross-sector adaptable. A pilot study was conducted with 48 learners and 16 educators across 8 countries to test and validate the outcomes.
